a city in south-west England, famous for its healthy mineral water and hot springs, its ancient Roman baths and beautiful Georgian buildings. The Bath Festival is a festival of classical music held every year in May and June. In 1987 Bath was one of the first places in Britain to become a World Heritage Site.
