a town in south-west England. According to legend, Joseph of Arimathea went there with the Holy Grail. Another story states that King Arthur and Queen Guinevere are buried there, and that Glastonbury was originally Avalon. Today it is famous for the Glastonbury Festival, a very large pop concert that takes place in fields outside the town every summer.
