a magazine for men that contains articles on fashion, sport, sex, health and other subjects. The letters 'GQ' stand for 'Gentlemen's Quarterly', which was the former title of the magazine. It is published every month and first appeared in the US in 1957. The British edition first appeared in 1988. GQ is also published in several other countries across the world.
