a sports ground established in 1890 in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England, where Yorkshire County Cricket and Leeds Rugby League and Rugby Union home matches are played. The area where cricket is played is now known officially as the Headingley Carnegie Cricket Ground and the stadium as the Headingley Carnegie Stadium. Headingley is also the name of an area of Leeds.
