a group of nuclear power stations (= buildings where electricity is produced) on the east coast of England, in Suffolk. The first one, Sizewell A, was built in 1966 and Sizewell B, a much larger power station, began producing electricity in 1995. Sizewell A stopped production in 2006 and there are plans to build a new power station, Sizewell C.
