a large train station in central London, England, for trains to and from the Midlands. The main part of the station building was originally a hotel, designed in a Gothic style by George Gilbert Scott and completed in 1872. St Pancras also has a London Underground station which it shares with King's Cross. From 2007 St Pancras has been a terminus for trains using the Channel Tunnel.
