one of Britain's Sunday papers, published by the same company as The Times. It is a broadsheet newspaper that expresses moderate right-wing opinions. It was the first British newspaper to introduce a colour supplement in the 1960s. The Sunday Times was first published in 1821. From 1821-2 it was known as the New Observer.
