a member of a Native American people many of whom live in western New Mexico Culture The Zunis are a Pueblo people. Nearly 6 000 live in the town of Zuni Pueblo, which was established about 1695. The Zunis are now mostly farmers. They are known for making jewellery and for their religious dance ceremonies and colourful costumes.
