a novel (1722) by Daniel Defoe. The full title is The Fortunes and Misfortunes of the Famous Moll Flanders. It takes the form of an autobiography in which Moll Flanders looks back on a life full of adventures, with many marriages and love affairs, as well as time spent in prison for various crimes.
