National Broadcasting Company (a US company that produces television and radio programmes) NBC News Culture NBC was the first of the original three US national broadcasting companies. It was established in 1926 by RCA as two groups of radio stations. The first NBC television channel opened in 1940. Its main offices are at Rockefeller Center in New York.
