a former US company producing biscuits, bread and other baked products. It was known especially for using the Pillsbury Doughboy in its advertisements. He is a small, fat, white boy called Poppin' Fresh who is shy and wears a baker's cap. The Pillsbury brand is now used by the companies General Mills and J M Smucker.
