a large US international company producing a wide range of household goods. It was established in 1837 by William Procter and James Gamble as a soap and candle business in Cincinnati, Ohio. The company's products include Ivory soap, Pringles Biscuits, Sunny Delight drinks, Crest toothpaste, Tide soap for clothes, Mr Clean for bathroom and kitchen surfaces, Oil of Olay cream and Folger's coffee.
