Cape Cod

- a summer holiday area in the US state of Massachusetts, on the Atlantic coast. The most popular towns are Hyannis and Provincetown. Cape Cod is also known for growing cranberries (= red berries eaten especially at Thanksgiving). The Pilgrim Fathers landed there in 1620.
