- (1922-2018) an English broadcaster and writer of comedy whose clever humour was popular for many years. With Frank Muir he wrote many successful radio and television series. From 1977 to 2006 he presented It'll be Alright on the Night which shows humorous accidents that occur while people are making television programmes.
