- a popular US television show about cooking, which ran from 1997 to 2010. It was presented by Emeril Lagasse, a chef who also owns restaurants, many of them in New Orleans. He is known for his Creole and Cajun recipes. He is famous for saying ‘Bam!’ or ‘Kick it up a notch’ when adding spices to food.
