Lorna Doone

- a romantic novel (1869) by the English author R D Blackmore (1825-1900). It is set on Exmoor in the 17th century, and tells the story of a young man who falls in love with a girl called Lorna Doone. Unfortunately she is from the family who murdered his father. Several historical events of the period form part of the story.
