- a US humorous magazine, first published in 1952. It uses a cartoon style to make fun of films, advertisements, etc., and to make well-known people look silly. It usually has on its cover a picture of the imaginary character Alfred E Neuman, who has a wide face and a stupid smile and says ‘What, me worry?’
