  1. a US national park in south-west Colorado. It was established in 1906 and covers 52 122 acres /21 109 hectares. Tourists come to see the cliff houses and the Cliff Palace of the Anasazi people which are more than 1 000 years old. The park includes mountains and deep valleys. It also has a museum. It was made a World Heritage Site in 1978.
