  1. (1942-2016) a famous US boxer. He was the world heavyweight champion from 1964 to 1967 and from 1974 to 1978. His original name was Cassius Clay, but he changed this in 1964 after joining the Black Muslims. He had a very strong and confident personality and wrote poetry about his victories.
