- (in the British parliament) a period of an hour each day from Monday to Thursday in which Members of Parliament can put questions to government ministers in the House of Commons. In the House of Lords Question Time takes place at the beginning of the day's business for up to 30 minutes on Mondays to Thursdays. see also Prime Minister's Questions
- a BBC television series first shown in 1979 and based on the radio series Any Questions? In it a group of five public figures, consisting of members of leading political parties and one or two other people, such as well-known journalists or a religious leaders, answer questions on political subjects from an audience.
