- (1913-97) a US comic actor in vaudeville, in films and on radio and television. The Red Skelton Show (1953-64) and The Red Skelton Hour (1964-70) were on CBS. His films included Whistling in the Dark (1941) and Three Little Words (1950). Skelton was chosen for the Comedy Hall of Fame in 1993.
