Tootsie Roll™

- a US sweet bar that tastes of chocolate and is very chewy. It was created in 1896 by Leo Hirshfield, an Austrian who had settled in New York, and named after his daughter. During the Second World War, Tootsie Rolls were included in the food boxes of US soldiers.
