  1. the capital city of Northern Ireland. Its main industries were making ships and aircraft, but the last ship was built in 2003 and the city has suffered a lot from unemployment and, in the past, from the Troubles. Two streets are especially well known, the Falls Road where mainly Roman Catholic people live, and the Shankhill Road, which is mainly Protestant.
