  1. (1939-2013) an English television presenter. He first became famous during the 1960s when he presented the comedy news programme That Was The Week That Was. From the 1960s he had great success as a television journalist on both British and US television. His Sunday morning interview programme Breakfast with Frost was on British television from 1992. He was made a knight in 1993.
