- (1932-2016) a US actor, singer and dancer known for her energy and bright personality. Her films include Singin' in the Rain, Tammy and the Bachelor (1957), The Unsinkable Molly Brown (1964) and Mother (1996). From 1955 to 1959 she was married to the singer Eddie Fisher (1928-2010), and their daughter was the actor Carrie Fisher (1956-2016).
