- Edward Estlin Cummings (1894-1962) a US writer of poetry and novels. His poems contain highly original language and were often printed in an unusual style, e.g. using only small letters. He often wrote about himself as ‚i‘ and signed his name ‚e.e.cummings‘. His poetry collections include Tulips and Chimneys (1923). His best-known novel is The Enormous Room (1922).
