- (1893-1973) a US actor, born in Romania, who was best known for playing tough criminals in films. His films include Little Caesar (1930), The Last Gangster (1938), Double Indemnity (1944), All My Sons (1948), The Cincinnati Kid (1965) and Solvent Green (1973). Robinson received a special Oscar in 1972.
