  1. a British pressure group formed in 2001 which campaigns against what its members believe is unfair treatment of divorced and separated fathers by the family courts in relation to fathers' rights to spend time with their children. Their actions have received a lot of attention, and include climbing the walls of the Law Courts and Buckingham Palace dressed as Batman and throwing purple coloured flour at the prime minister in the House of Commons. They have also demonstrated outside the homes of judges who work in the family courts.
