  1. a US women's magazine published by Condé Nast. It began in 1939 and covers fashion, beauty, health and news about famous people. It also has articles about other interests, such as business, politics, travel, food and relationships. Each year it holds the Glamour Woman of the Year Awards. There has been a British version of the magazine since 2001, and there are also versions in several other countries.
