Hair
/heə(r)/
/her/
- a 'rock musical' play (1967) about hippies. It opened in New York and a year later in London. It was criticized (and attracted audiences) because in one scene the actors were naked and because the characters were against the Vietnam War and thought that drugs were fun. The songs include Let the Sunshine In and The Age of Aquarius. A film version appeared in 1979.
