- a street in the Notting Hill district of west London. It is well known for its market, which sells food, clothes and second-hand goods. On Saturdays the second-hand area of the market attracts many tourists. In the late 20th century it became a very fashionable street, and many cafes, restaurants and antique shops opened next to the market.
