Raleigh International

- an international charity based in Britain. It organizes journeys to remote areas, usually for 5-10 weeks, for young people aged 17 to 24 for a combination of adventure and useful environmental and community projects. It also organizes journeys for older people up to the age of 75. It began as Operation Raleigh in 1984, following the success of Operation Drake.
