  1. a children's programme shown on BBC television from 1965 to 1977. It was an English version of Le Manège Enchanté (1965) which was written for French television by Serge Danot.The characters were all toys, including a little girl called Florence, a dog called Dougal, a rabbit called Dylan and Ermintrude, a pink cow.
