The Mikado

- a comic opera (1885) by W S Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan, one of their Savoy Operas. It takes place in a town in Japan called Titipu and contains many well-known songs, including Three Little Maids from School and A Wandering Minstrel, I. The Mikado himself is the emperor of Japan.
