- a well-known group of female dancers at the Radio City Music Hall in New York. They dance in a long line, kicking their legs in the air at the same time and in time to the music. The Rockettes used to perform between the films being shown there. Now they present special shows at Easter and Christmas and perform in cities throughout the US.
