  1. (in Britain) newspapers that are sold only on Sundays. Most are published by companies which also publish daily newspapers on the other days of the week, and they usually have the same style, opinions and type of stories as their related daily papers. For example, The Mail on Sunday is similar to the Daily Mail. Sunday papers have more pages than daily newspapers, and are usually divided into several sections, such as sport, news and the arts. Many of them also have a colour supplement.
