  1. a magazine published each week in London. It gives details of the entertainment available in London each week (cinema, theatre, music, etc.) and information about exhibitions, museums, sports, special activities, etc. It also contains reviews and other articles. It was first published in 1968, and since 2012 has been a free magazine, distributed in places such as stations in central London. There are versions of Time Out for many different cities across the world, including New York and San Francisco. The Time Out Group also publishes travel and restaurant guides.
