- a British magazine published each week, originally by the company that owned The Times. Until 2008 it was known as the Times Higher Education Supplement and was in a newspaper design. It is similar to the Times Educational Supplement but it is for teachers and other people involved in higher education (= education at colleges and universities rather than at schools). It was first published in 1971.
