    CultureThe Seneca formed the largest group in the Iroquois League. They supported the British during the American Revolution, which led to their villages being destroyed by the US army. Senecas now live mainly on four reservations (= areas of land kept separate for native North Americans to live in) in western New York state and eastern Ohio.
