    CultureThe sauce is made in Worcester by the Lea and Perrins company. It was originally created by two chemists, John Wheeley Lea and William Henry Perrins, in Worcester and they began commercial production of it in 1837. How it is made and exactly what it contains has always been kept a secret but it is known to contain vinegar and spices.
